Daragh McDonald

Sales & New Business Director

Daragh brings to C&D Properties, many years of knowledge and practical property experience.

Having lived and worked in Australia for the last two years Daragh has now returned to Liverpool and is keen to put all his experience to build on an already successful career.

Working as Sales and Marketing Consultant in Brisbane for Ray White Northside group Daragh proved his ability and commitment and is now ready to implement both his time in Australia and 20 years of Property Sales and Management experience to provide a truly exceptional service.

Born and raised in Dublin Ireland Daragh is the second eldest of four boys. Growing up, his father ran his own Taxi business and his mother looked after the boys as well as helping various charities in her spare time.

After completing High School at St Mac Dara's College in Dublin, Daragh went on to train and qualify as a plumber which gave him the qualifications and the opportunity to spend some time abroad. This was an ambition he had harboured for many years.

With his trade in place he was able to work and travel for a few years around Europe, before returning to the UK and settling in Liverpool in 1994. Opportunity allowed Daragh to purchase and old derelict building and soon he'd developed it into a successful Irish bar called' Shenanigans' - which is still going strong today.

Having experienced a taste for developing property and becoming successful, Daragh partnered with both his brother Conor and later Ian Murray to start their own property company, 'C & D Properties', specialising in acquisition, investment sales and property management.

Liverpool's property sector soon took off and Daragh spent the next 18 years building up a portfolio of properties and the company grew to also specialise in property maintenance over the years.

It was during Daragh's time in Liverpool that he met his wife Lexi from Brisbane Australia. In 2007 they flew back to Australia and married. They have two daughters, Isabella and Sophia .In 2012, Daragh, Lexi and their girls made a decision to spend some time in Australia. Moving to Brighton on the Northside of Brisbane, Daragh started his Australian Property career and enjoyed his time there. He saw a different approach to property sales and hopes to bring some of his experience in Australia to the UK.

In his spare time you will find Daragh enjoying time with his family, running with Park Run every Saturday morning both while in Australia and now locally in Princes Park. He also enjoys socialising and meeting new people.
